SHIPPING IN JAMAICA
General Trading Limited uses its personal Courier for local delivery in the Kingston and St Andrew region.
Shipping charges within Jamaica normally varies depending on location
Estimated delivery time usually is 1-4 business days after verification.
All billing & shipping information has to be verified before the order can be processed. You will be contacted via email if your information cannot be verified.
STORE PICKUP
Store Pickup lets you avoid shipping charges by picking up your order a our store location i.e. 5 Park Avenue, Kingston 5.
Here’s how it works:
- During Ordering, choose Store Pickup.
- Place your order and wait to receive a “Ready for pickup” e-mail. (This is a separate e-mail from your order confirmation e-mail.)
- Bring your ID, credit card, and order number to the store and pick up your items.
Bring to the store:
- Your government-issued photo ID, must match the billing details of the order.
- The credit card used for the purchase (if a credit card was used).
- Your order number and receipt.
Who can pick up your order:
You can pick up your order yourself or choose someone else to pick it up (Friends & Family Pickup). To have your order picked up by someone else.
- Provide the pickup person’s name, e-mail address and phone number. Your pickup person will need to show his/her government issue ID and the order number at the store.
It’s important to note that only you or your designated pickup person can pick up the order.
Back Orders
For back ordered items in any order, it will be automatically ship out as soon as we receive the item in the order placed. You will be notified via a shipment confirmation email once your back ordered items have shipped.
PAYMENT ON ORDERS:
We accept payment with Visa, MasterCard,Keycard and Cheque. Only the first 6-digits and last 4-digits of the card number will be stored.
Product prices and delivery charges, if any, are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a Confirmation. Please retain a copy of your receipt that shows each transaction processed.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES:
Authorized returns & exchanges must be reported within 72 hours of receipt.
Please send an email to [email protected] explaining the situation in detail including all of your contact information within 72 hours of receipt. You must have the packing slip and items, and the items must be in the same brand new condition as when received.
30 DAY CASH REFUND CONDITIONS:
1 Merchandise may only be returned in new, unused, undamaged condition in complete, undamaged original packaging.
2 No returns, exchanges or refunds on: food, bulbs, pens, batteries, books, magazines, cosmetics, perfumes, hair products, jewelry, cards, phone cards, opened cd/dvd or cassettes, seasonal merchandise (including Valentines, Easter, Halloween and Christmas).
3 Toys, appliances, telephones, lamps and electric lights must be tested before leaving the store – these items are not covered by the 30 day warranty.
CLAIMS: Claims for shortages or defective goods must be made within 24 hours of receipt. General Trading reserves the right to make the final decision as to how to resolve any claim.
DISCLAIMER: General Trading cannot guarantee variances in color, shade, size, and construction of stock items. We reserve the right to change, correct or improve goods without notice. Photographic colors may not be representative of true product colors. General Trading has the right to modify, cancel or revoke these terms and conditions at any time.
